Car Editing

For this assignment, I had to take a picture of a car and touch it up to make it look like a new, shiny car all by itself. This was the starting photo:

From this photo, we had to drag it into photoshop and crop it, duplicate it for a back-up copy, adjust the levels, remove certain gleams from lights with the clone tool, tint, and add a text box. This was the finishing photo:

Summary: This assignment was a little difficult for me. It was fun to touch up the car and make it look brand new, but the difficult part for me was remembering what buttons to press on the keyboard to make certain things zoom in out or zoom out. During this assignment, I learned how to make one picture look like a new picture. This is probably what most people do when they are shooting pictures for magazine covers to make the model's skin look perfect. Altogether, this was a fun editing assignment.
